FAQ

The cost of our shoot varies significantly depending on your goals and vision.
Simple portrait shoots start at $550, and half day shoots start at $1200. However, production, styling and location fees are calculated on top of this.
Some things to consider when determining your budget would be:Do we need to book a venue?
Do you want professional hair and makeup?
What about a stylist?
Models?
How many looks will we be shooting?
How many images would you like of each look?
What kind of licensing do you need? (Commercial vs Personal)
It goes without saying but the more we have to play with the more we can do, the deeper we can go, and ultimately, the more powerful the images will be.
Payment plans are always available, and custom packages can be created for you.If you are interested in working with me, please complete a project inquiry.

When you hire a photographer, you hiring them as an artist to produce a custom project on your behalf. This means that the images produced are protected under copyright law, and can only be used and reproduced as outlined in your terms of agreement.
These terms are also known as your image license. They define when, where and for how long the images can be used for their intended purpose.
“Personal Use” includes images like family portraits or weddings where you are offered a perpetual (lifetime) license. This means you can print and post however you like for as long as you like, but you cannot use the images to promote any income generating activities.
“Commercial Use” is defined as any activity that is used to promote anything that will be used for financial gain. So if you are using the images to sell a product or service, or build your brand you wil need a commercial license. Things to consider when determining your commercial terms are:
How long will you be using the images for? Is this a short campaign or do you want to be able to use them over and over again for a number of years?
Where would you like to use the images? On your website, social media, email? In store, on flyers, posters, catalogs or billboards?
Will you be using the images for paid advertising? Eg. google ads, paid social media ads, or in magazines?
Generally I offer a 24 month term that includes use for the web, email and social media. Paid advertisements and print media are considered extended terms and are calculated per image in line with the AOP Usage Calculator.
